Policy

TERMS OF CONTRACT This contract is an agreement between the SCHOOL and the STUDENT. Verbal assurances or promises not included in this contract are not binding. The PARENT/GUARDIAN authorizes the student to participate, confirming they meet the legal requirements for a motor vehicle operator’s license. The student must be at least 14 YEARS 6 MONTHS OLD at the start of the course (birth certificate required for verification). The course consists of 30 HOURS OF CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION and 6 HOURS OF BEHIND-THE-WHEEL (BTW) TRAINING. All classes will be held at 426 EAST WILLIAMS ST, APEX, NC. BTW instruction will start from this location as well. The total fee of $595 can be paid in full or in installments, with an initial payment of $100 due at enrollment. The balance must be paid before completing the classroom portion. Payments can be made via cash, check, money order, or credit card. A $30 FEE applies for missed BTW sessions without 24-hour notice or returned checks. Missed classes must be made up in the next session; otherwise, all payments will be forfeited. This school is licensed by the NORTH CAROLINA DMV. We provide BTW training in dual-controlled, fully insured vehicles. Additional classroom or BTW instruction is available for an extra fee if needed to complete the program. While we provide top-level training, PEAKWAY DRIVING SCHOOL cannot guarantee students will pass the DMV tests or secure a license. We strive to offer the best teaching to help students achieve these goals. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, mechanical issues, or other uncontrollable conditions. Notice will be given as early as possible for any such delays. Students may not leave school premises during class but may bring their lunch and snacks. BTW training is limited to THREE STUDENTS PER INSTRUCTOR at a time. REFUND POLICY Refunds are available for students who withdraw at least 72 HOURS before class begins (credit card fees are non-refundable). Once the course begins, no refunds will be given. Refund requests must be made in writing.
