Policy

TERMS OF CONTRACT This contract is an agreement between the PEAKWAY DRIVING SCHOOL and the STUDENT. Verbal assurances or promises not included in this contract are not binding. The PARENT/GUARDIAN authorizes the student to participate, confirming they meet the legal requirements for a motor vehicle operator’s license. The student must be at least 14 YEARS 6 MONTHS OLD at the start of the course (birth certificate required for verification). The course consists of 30 HOURS OF CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION and 6 HOURS OF BEHIND-THE-WHEEL (BTW) TRAINING. - The total fee of the course is $595.00. We accept cash, check, money order and credit cards. - A $100.00 NON-REFUNDABLE down payment is due upon registration. - Within 4-6 weeks after the classroom sessions are completed, one of our instructors will reach out to parents to schedule the 6-Hours of the driving lessons. - All classes will be held at 426 EAST WILLIAMS ST, APEX, NC. The Behind-the-Wheel instruction will start from this location as well. - The remaining balance must be paid by the first day of class. - Payments can be made via cash, check, money order, or credit card. - A $30 FEE applies for SAME DAY-BEHIND THE WHEEL CANELATIONS. - A $35 fee on any returned checks. - Missed classes must be made up in the next session; otherwise, all payments will be forfeited. - This school is licensed by the NORTH CAROLINA DMV. - We provide BTW training in dual-controlled, fully insured vehicles. Additional classroom or BTW instruction is available for an extra fee if needed to complete the program. While we provide top-level training, PEAKWAY DRIVING SCHOOL cannot guarantee students will pass the DMV tests or secure a license. We strive to offer the best teaching to help students achieve these goals. Peakway Driving School is not liable for delays caused by weather, mechanical issues, or other uncontrollable conditions. Notice will be given as early as possible for any such delays. Students may not leave school premises during class but may bring their lunch and snacks. BTW training is limited to THREE STUDENTS PER INSTRUCTOR at a time.
