Policy

TERMS OF CONTRACT - This agreement constitutes the entire contract between The School and the Student, and any verbal assurances or promises not contained herein shall bind neither the school nor the student. - The parent or guardian authorizes the student to take part in the program on the basis that the student meets the physical requirements specified by law for issuance of a motor vehicle operator’s license. - The student must be at least 14 years and 6 months of age on the first day of the start of the class. • This course consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of Behind the Wheel instruction. • All classroom instruction will be held at 426 East Williams St., Apex, NC 27502. • Driving Lessons/ instruction will start from the office where classroom instructions are held. • The total course fee of $595.00 is payable in full by the first day of class. • A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is due upon registering the student. The remaining balance must be paid on the first day of class. • Peakway Driving School will not refund any fees once the class starts. We accept cash, checks, money orders, or credit cards. • There will be a $30.00 charge for not showing up for behind-the-wheel driving instructions without 24-hour notice. • There will be a $30.00 charge for all returned checks. • The student will not be able to continue the course if he/she misses one class. • Any make-up requests must be in writing. • This School is licensed by the State of North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles . • Peakway Driving School will conduct the BTW instruction in a dual-controlled automobile, fully insured, covering each student enrolled in the program. - Peakway Driving School doesn’t guarantee that students will successfully pass the tests given by the NC DMV or that students can secure a license; the school does its best to give the students the best teaching and practices to accomplish these goals. - Peakway Driving School cannot be held responsible for delays caused by unsafe driving conditions due to bad weather, mechanical problems, or any other conditions in which it has no control. Peakway Driving School will give as much notice as possible in case of any such delays. - Under this agreement, an instructor may not provide Behind-The-Wheel training to more than two students. - Students ARE NOT allowed to leave the school’s premises during the class. BY REGISTERING, I AGREE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CONTRACT.
